At ANZHAP, we understand the significant impact our business has on social and environmental issues, both locally and globally. We believe it’s not enough to simply be profitable—we must also be responsible. We are committed to promoting fair working conditions, ethical practices, and environmental sustainability across our entire supply chain.
ANZHAP supports internationally recognized human rights and strives to avoid complicity in human rights abuses. Our values are rooted in integrity, fairness, and respect for people and the planet. These core values guide every decision we make in business:
These values are reflected in our Global Business Standards, which govern both our internal practices and how we engage with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Our employees receive training on these standards, and adherence to them is part of our annual performance review. We also maintain an Integrity Line for employees to report concerns anonymously, managed by an independent third party.
We are committed to doing business with suppliers who share our vision for sustainability and ethical responsibility. Our ANZHAP Supplier Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for suppliers regarding social and environmental responsibility. This includes providing a safe, healthy, and fair workplace for their employees, in compliance with local laws and regulations. We encourage our suppliers to implement best practices to improve environmental and social conditions, wherever possible.
Key requirements for our suppliers include:
We select suppliers based on factors such as quality, innovation, technical competence, and their commitment to our corporate responsibility goals.
To ensure compliance with our ethical standards, we apply a risk-based approach to supplier selection and monitoring. This includes:
If any supplier is found to be in violation of our standards, such as using child or forced labor, we will require immediate corrective action. If the issue is not resolved, we will discontinue the business relationship.
Although we do not currently have a specific training program for human trafficking and slavery, we train employees who manage supply chain relationships on our Supplier Code of Conduct. To date, we have not encountered any known instances of human trafficking or slavery within our supply chain. If such cases arise, they will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with appropriate corrective actions.
We are committed to continuous improvement in managing the social responsibility expectations of our supply chain. Our efforts include:
By working together with our suppliers, we aim to build a transparent, ethical, and sustainable supply chain that supports our mission and values.
